Services Hours We offer coffee service starting at 9:00 am, and breakfast service can be ready around 9:00 - 9:30 am. Please always review your meal schedule with the staff. If you require service before 9:00 am, we will gladly accommodate, but we must coordinate with the villa houseman 24 hours in advance. Dinner is served no later than 7:00 pm. The staff cleans up after dinner, serves a last round of drinks, and then calls it a night. Additional staff /Extra services hours Please request in advance. Upon request, additional service hours may be added past dinner time per staff member, per hour. Our House Manager will determine the number of additional staff needed. If staff is required to work past 9:00 pm, an automatic fee will be applied per staff, per extra hour(s). Staff Gratuities Gratuities are appreciated in cash as they go directly to our team members. Gratuities are discretionary and should reflect the quality of service received. We recommend a standard minimum gratuity of $35 USD per guest per day. For larger events such as dinners and parties, where extensive service and effort are provided, a higher gratuity may be considered appropriate. For example: a group of 10 guests staying at a villa, where a gratuity of $350 per night applies. If the group stays for 4 nights, the total gratuity amounts to $350 × 4 = $1,400. This sum is distributed among the villa staff according to their contributions, acknowledging even those whose work, like housekeeping, may not involve direct guest interactions but is crucial for maintaining guest comfort and satisfaction. Meal and Grocery Planning Guideline Meal Services Your villa rental includes the preparation and service of three meals a day, plus snacks and beverages. The cost of food and beverages is not included. We recommend that guests budget a minimum of $40 to $50 per day for food, depending on their selections. This estimate is based on three meals per day, snacks, and drinks. Guests have control over their own spending. We will provide menu suggestions to help you plan meals before your arrival and throughout your stay. Our cook can create menus tailored to your budget, so please don't hesitate to contact your reservations agent or concierge for assistance with this. Allergies and Dietary Restrictions If anyone in your group is a vegetarian, has specific allergies, or has intolerances (e.g., to gluten, vegan, vegetarian etc.), our Chef will accommodate their meals. Please also consider this when tipping, as it requires additional work on our Chef’s part. Cooking for 20+ people is no small feat! We ask that you provide your menu choices for your arrival dinner, as well as breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus for your first full day at the villa. Please also include a basic selection of snacks and drinks for us to have readily available. Thereafter, our chefs will prepare daily creative menu items from the traditional Mexican cuisine to inspired international dishes, to include local catch of the day, seasonal fruits and vegetables and other fresh ingredients, based on availability and according to your dietary requirements and preferences. Grocery Shopping Our staff will undertake one grocery shopping trip per day to prepare meals and fulfill any additional food or beverage requests you may have for stocking the villa. Guests are required to reimburse staff for groceries purchased (both pesos and dollars are accepted). A 15% shopping fee will be added to the grocery bill. Guests will be presented with all receipts. We accept both cash and credit card payments. Credit card payments are subject to a 5% processing fee. Wine Pairing Upon request, our chefs can provide a thoughtful wine pairing with their menu offering.
